A former New York Jets head coach is back in the spotlight. Robert Saleh, known for his defensive acumen and passionate sideline presence, has been requested for an interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars for their vacant head coaching position.

The Jaguars have requested an interview with Saleh for their head coach vacancy, the team announced Tuesday. Saleh is one of eight candidates on the team’s initial list, which includes hot names in Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and Detroit defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn.
