Five people were hurt after a man fleeing troopers drove a truck through the entrance of a mall in Killeen, Texas, the Texas Department of Safety says.

The suspect drove through the doors of a JCPenny in Killeen, Texas, and continued inside for "several hundred yards," an official said.

Shoppers scrambled for safety as the pickup truck careened "for several hundred yards" into the mall, police said.
