Honda reintroduces its 0 Series electric vehicles at CES 2025, announcing the new ASIMO operating system and plans to begin production in 2026.

Honda Motor will be cautious about starting production of new electric vehicles due to uncertainty about President-elect Donald Trump's industrial policy, a senior executive of the Japanese automaker said on Tuesday.

A year on from wowing crowds at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas with two wild and all-electric 0 Series concept cars, Honda has returned to CES with new prototypes that are true to the original designs and preview production models that will go on sale next year.

For its Second Founding, Honda is going all-electric and the Saloon and SUV prototypes at CES reflect that fundamental change.

The vehicles are the Honda 0 Saloon, which is an updated version of a concept car revealed last year at CES, and the Honda 0 SUV.

Honda has previewed the design of its future electric vehicles (EVs), confirming they will make a dramatic departure from the Japanese brand’s current model lineup. The Honda 0 Series EVs were first previewed in computer-animated concept form last year,

The new EVs are part of Honda's 0 Series models that will be built at the company's EV Hub in Ohio. Mechanical details were not shared. For that matter, very little is known about the concepts beyond the software that will control them.
