Illinois Commerce Commission has approved Ameren Illinois’ amended and refiled multi-year grid plan for 2024-27, reducing Ameren’s requested rate increase.

The state has approved a grid plan for Ameren after sending them back to the drawing board last year. The Illinois Commerce Commission approved a plan for $83 million in investments and system improvements on Thursday.
